Views from our Whitby Holiday Cottage

If you are looking for Whitby Holiday Cottages with stunning views not just a glimpse out of on upstairs window, look no further. Very few have views to match those seen from Wynd Cottage. All our rooms (bar one bedroom and the kitchen) look out across the harbour towards the Abbey. You can spend hours watching the ebb and flow of tide and the comings and goings of the boats.

From upstairs the panoramic view takes you North out to sea, East is the harbour and river Esk and the moors to the South.

In the depths of winter you can enjoy the drama of the weather in warmth and comfort.

If you are an early riser you can catch a good sunset.

No better place to sit, relax and watch the world go by. Feel yourself unwind as you soak in the views.

Enjoying the views with style, if you are celebrating the ice bucket and champagne glasses are in the cottage.

You will soon come to recognise some of regular boats and wonder about some others. You will find binoculars in the living room if you want a closer look.

As night falls the Gothic nature of Whitby often shows its self, so keep a look out!

If the full moon isn't around, on a clear night the stars are bright letting you track the movement of constellations from right outside your back door.

The drama of toiling skies playing against the illuminated Abbey if you are lucky. If you miss it you can always come back another time.

If the "north wind doth blow" it's not a problem. Retire to the living room and enjoy the same views in comfort.

If you don't want to risk it...... wave watching from inside a nice warm cottage is perfectly possible.
